Adrenalinska,lepljiva atmosfera od samog pocetka nastupa je izmamila ovacije prisutnih Exitovaca.Odlican,odlican band !

Apsolutno sve je ukazivalo na dobar provod-lepo mesto,dobro drustvo,prijatno vreme,hladno pivo..Pre zvezde veceri izasli su domaci nam Neked,vise nego simpatican band,predstavljajuci nam svoj opus

Harizmaticni afrofunk ratnik je odmah zagospodario masom,polivajuci nas sirovim,ogoljenim,tvrdim funk zvukom.Tesko je opisati kolko je to dobro zvucalo Iz Keziah-e je stalno na binu izvirala borba Jimi Hendrixa i funk nasledja u njemu,na nasu opstu radost.Negde na polovini nastupa napravio je i mali hommage J.Hendrixu,svirajuci njemu omiljeni komad od Boba Dilana- All Along The Watchtower
Drago mi je sto je pazovacko jato na certu bilo poveliko,forumasko takodje ..bacite i vi svoj komentar
i za kraj nekoliko albuma od Keziah Jonesa,hvala tonics-u na uploadu
Svirka realno izuzetna, nigerijski mršavko (na radost ženskog dijela auditorijuma ovom prilikom i lagahno raskomoćen) otprašio valjano. Ko ne zna, a saznaće, njegov način svirke je "one on one" čovek - instrument, sirovo sviranje šakom, veoma teška i ritmički zahtevna tehnika.
Bubnjar je bio paklena mašina, basista veseljak bez mane... Sve u svemu, sat vremena (možda nešto malo više) dobrog izbora pesama sa starih albuma i "Beautiful Emily" sa poslednjeg (uz još par, ne garantujem) je podiglo pubiku skroz naskroz. Uz to, dobar kontakt sa hiljadu/hiljaduipo/dvehiljade ljudi je bio spontan... Sišao čovek na kraju opušteno u masu, pozdravio se sa svima, rukovao, sve pevajući...
Svaka čast pazovačkoj ekipi, bilo nas je 15-ak, što je za svaku pohvalu. Nažalos, ne ponesoh pogani aparat za ovekovečavanje, ali verujte na reč, bilo je više nego što se moglo očekivati od festivalske svirke. Definitivan znak da (ruku na srce) retro-funk zvuk uvek može da podigne ljude na noge...
Ocijena: vrhunaravno!!!

Boss Tweed je odlican mladjani(po godinama) band iz Bruklina koji sam pre neko vece gledao uzivo u Liverpulu,na svoje veliko zadovoljstvo.
Kombinujuci retro zanrove poput bluesa,rockabilly-ja i surfa sa kantrijem i cak jazz swingom prave lako prihvatljivi melanz muzike koja pleni.
Odlicni sviraci + mocan glas gospojice Sills jednostavno ne mogu da vas ostave ravnodusnim tokom nastupa.Steta (ali ne moja..) sto vise pari ociju i usiju nije prisustvovalo gigu..dobro sad, racunaju se i rasparene varijante
Prijatni,nasmejani i vedri,spremni na interakciju sa publikom za vreme i posle nastupa samo su dobili jos jedan plus vise od mene

Darker Blues, by contrast, is, well, darker. It emphasizes the human needs and nastiness about which the blues can speak truth. It is more forbidden, more painful, and more abject than Music Makers. Raucous, wild Mississippi juke-joint funksters such as T-Model Ford and R.L. Burnside lead the way as Fat Possum label founder Matthew Johnson brings out the punk in the blues, releasing music that is raw, electrified, buzzing mayhem.
Are things really so bad? In case you haven't noticed, American teenagers, the record-buying public, don't associate blues with anything good. How could they when all they've been exposed to is the cheesy, cigar-smoking, frat-rock and tourist-trap side of it. At the other end of the spectrum, and the other side of the bar, but just as distasteful, are the folklorists and musicologists. What place does Fat Possum Records have in all this? All we care about is capturing that vitality, and the subversive intensity of our artists which are relevant in today's world. We are trying our best, that's our motto, in case you didn't know; and it fits. Try your best-that's all you can do, when you have a job this big.
I had a family member accuse me of being a folklorist just because my artists are black, but I'm not. I didn't start Fat Possum to document practitioners of a dying culture with "archival field recordings" that rarely sound good, much less do the artist any justice. It's hard enough to make a good record when you're trying to; it's impossible to make one when all you are trying to do is record something. Fat Possum is alwasy being criticized for being disrespectful, or for not being reverent in our markteting and publicity. Old bluesmen are supposed to be bad people. I didn't find an impressionist painting at a flea market or discover some long-forgotten pharaoh's tomb. I didn't discover anybody, I just record blues guys who were overlooked by other labels because they hadn't toured, or had only limited repertoires, or were unreliable or refused to play standing up. Guys who sometimes have trouble standing up, yet excel at falling down. But that's the blues. At least what I call the blues.

The result of three weeks alone in a Nevada desert motel room, City Of Refuge, Castanets’ fourth full-length for Asthmatic Kitty (September, 2008), blazed into Ray Raposa's mind with the rising sun. The idea came the morning after an overnight drive with tour companions from Oakland, CA, to Las Vegas, NV; waking in the back seat to a Nevada gas station dawn, Raposa said "here," and as the drive progressed, so did his conviction that this was where he would record the next Castanets album.
The Agnostic Mountain Gospel Choir is neither a choir nor are they mountain men. Nope, just 4 dudes from Calgary doing their own take on a pre-WWII delta blues dash Appalachian mountain music sound. As a favor to the band, from this point forward I will avoid any of the following words whilst I talk about them: moonshine, potato sacks, hobo campfire, and caveman. I hope this makes them happy. I am only doing it cause they’re from Calgary and us Tampanians (I know, Tampons is more accurate) have already inflicted enough pain, shame and suffering on that particular city that there is no need in rubbing salt in the ever open wound. No moonshine, potato sacks, hobo campfires, or cavemen that is my olive branch.
Ten Thousand is Agnostic Mountain Choirs third album. It is largely a DIY, recorded live effort. While it officially has label support over in England the North American distribution and what not is handled by the band themselves. Ten Thousand is an album as likely to appeal to fans of Old Crow Medicine Show as it is to appeal to fans for Mississippi Fred McDowell… Did you link the O’Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack? This is along those same veins.

John Lurie je jedna vrlo osobena faca iz sveta umetnosti New Yorka.
Muzicar,glumac,slikar i jos ponesto..svojevremeno je imao svoj show na tv "Fishing with John" gde bi dovodio poznate licnosti iz sveta muzike i filma da pecaju zajedno..mada John nema pojma sa pecanjem vec bi pricali o svemu i svacemu.Veliki je prijatelj Jima Jarmusha u cijim filmovima je glumio i pisao muziku za iste..Nazalost sad je ozbiljno bolestan,od neke vrste lajmske bolesti..
Muzika koju je pisao je inteligentan spoj svega iz druge polovine 20. veka:Po vokaciji jazz saksofonista Jonh Lurie pravi vrlo zanimljiv spoj jazza,rocka,funka,bluesa.Artizam u najboljem znacenju te reci,a pritom uvek zvuci veoma filmicno i nestandardno za pojmove mainstream-a
Tom Waits je njegov veliki postovalac...

Ovo mi se neobicno dopada(mislim na ovonedeljnu ponudu novih albuma)
U pitanju je sasvim neobavezni (na prvi pogled) album Flavor Crystalsa kojeg bi mogli da okarakterisemo kao post rock ili jos bolje space rock.Ako bi se trazila jedna rec kojom bi opisao ovaj album, to bi bilo ATMOSFERICNOST.Vesto izbegavajuci manir i dosadu,sto je cest slucaj u toj vrsti muzike,napravili su prilicno dopadljiv materijal

Delicious guitars and aural tension
The second Flavor Crystals album comes drenched in delicious reverbed guitars, a quietly attractive aural tension and a definite lack of anything approaching urgency. Their wonderfuly lethargic atmospherics combined with intertwining guitars summoning up a weird splicing of a mildly opiated Television and the textures of a faintly withdrawn Mercury Rev. Singer Josh Richardson adding those laconically whispy, barely-there vocals that exist more for atmospherics than to stand above the sound or make proclamations.
However, the whole album has an attractively loose and spontaneous feel, but without the wild left turns or indulgences that sometimes goes arm in arm with that approach.
Sublime title track ‘Ambergris’ possesses the kind of reverb-drenched delicacy one could get lost in for days, while ‘Guppython’ and ‘Tsar Bomba’ quietly become loveable via some gorgeously ambiguous lead guitar lines.
Being slightly mono-paced, and with each track following a fairly similar blueprint much of ‘Ambergris’ drifts by in a faintly anonymous, if very pleasant, haze of almost dream-like resonance. One things for sure though, at the end the repeat button will seem like a very attractive option.

Zajednicko im je da prave fantasticnu muziku,nisu nesto poznati a trebalo bi.Ploce su novijeg datuma ali u najboljoj tradiciji psihodelije 70. tumachenoj kroz prizmu novog vremena.

From deep in the heart of Texas, armed with the home-grown mantra "Turn On, Tune In, Drone Out," The Black Angels ring real and rugged like a crimson full moon-lit night. Formed in May of 2004, the band's sanctified holy racket was breech-born out of life-long friendships drawn up in blood and sealed with a kiss. Their self proclaimed "Native American Drone 'N' Roll" genre has progressed from communal living and the members' eclectic upbringings. Bassist Ryan was born on a cult compound, guitarist Bland is the real deal son of a Texas preacher man, and drummer Bailey and vocalist Maas believe a little girl in a red linen dress haunts the group's home.
Taking their name from the classic Velvet Underground tune "The Black Angel's Death Song," these Angels are far more than classic revisionists with extensive record collections. This is heavy-duty psychedelic rock with an incessant primitive beat that echoes the spirit of the 13th Floor Elevators and early Stones.
Calling the ghetto outskirts of Austin, TX their HQ, these hungry-to-create touring nomads crave taking their love for music out on the road. Their densely-layered songs feature Bland's acid-infused finger-painting guitar and the melodic incantations of lead singer Mass within guitar/bass labyrinths from Ryan and Kyle Hunt. The music is martial-drummed into apocalyptic bliss by garage-punk goddess Stephanie Bailey.
Following the success of the band's self-titled debut EP and the 2006 full-length Passover comes Directions To See A Ghost — over seventy minutes in length and the band's mind-numbing psychedelic opus. DTSAG was brilliantly recorded by Passover's Erik Wofford at Cacophony Recording Studios in Austin, Texas.
This stuff is indeed a real treat...the kind of sounds that wonderfully accompany a lazy, green, summer day. Or under a starry night sky while camping. Very fuzzy, stripped/slowed down, heavy blues psychedelia. This, their sophomore effort, is considered leaning a bit too much in the metal/stoner rock direction by some. It's very heavy without sounding broodish and menacing all the time. Overall, "Howls" is definitely their heaviest material, but anything these guys do is well worth the listen.

Pošto se polako i ova godina bliži kraju, na listu ovogodišnjih albuma svakako ulaze Coldplay - Viva la vida, Kings of Leon - Only By The Night, David Holmes - The Holy Pictures...
